Workshop17, Kloof Street

Co-working office

Open offices are transforming the way people work, meet, create and collaborate. The latest addition to the Workshop17 network of co-working spaces is housed in a newly restored building on the bustling, central main artery of Kloof Street, Cape Town. The facility is home to public and private offices, carefully designed giving consideration to space, surface, materials and colour. To complete this special environment, the premises required an additional creative element. In acknowledgment of the space’s close proximity to the Michaelis School of Fine Art, Art Gazette curated a diverse, inspiring working environment with an installation of artworks that reflect both the dynamic lifestyle of Cape Town residents and the city’s status as a cultural hub. Notably, the selection of artworks also addresses a broad range of topics and social issues of our time.
